Demo analytics
CS2 stats from the demo itself
Scoreboards tell you who won. Demos tell you how. FragLedger parses Valve CS2 replays into a receipt you can audit — not a black-box rating dump.
01 · Why demos
Why demo parsing beats scoreboard scrapes
End-of-match scoreboards are useful, but they collapse a round into a few counters. A .dem replay contains ordered deaths, damage, utility, bomb events, and the same official cumulative totals Valve shows in-game.
FragLedger differences those cumulative snapshots per round, then reconciles kill/assist/headshot events so a receipt cannot disagree with the finalized scoreboard.
02 · Coverage
What we extract today
- Map, terminal score, and complete 2v2 or 5v5 roster (SteamID64)
- Per-round kills, deaths, assists, damage, headshots, survival, trades
- Opening duels and trade window under a versioned five-second method
- Ordered death evidence (weapon, HS, flash assist, wallbang…)
- Diagnostic utility: flashes, grenade outcomes, bomb lifecycle (where present)
- Match aggregates: ADR, HS%, KAST, Frag Rating — see the glossary
03 · Honesty
What we refuse to invent
Domains without a verified extractor stay unavailable — not zero. That includes unverified distance units, spray heatmaps, and matchmaking queue labels for Valve demos.
Surrendered matches may end mid-ledger; FragLedger accepts terminal surrender when the demo says so, instead of fabricating missing regulation rounds.
